Install nozzle on valve body. Hand-tighten.

Test nozzle (subpara b thru g).
WARNING
Keep hands away from nozzle tip when testing fuel injection cracking pressure. The fuel is ejected
with enough force to penetrate skin.

Preparation for Testing

Connect fuel injector to tester.

Close on-off valve

Open gage protection valves one-half turn.

Open pump isolator valve one-half turn.

Loosen bottom part of adapter.
6
Pump handle until fuel leaks from threads at top of adapter.

Pressure Loss Testing
1
Open gage protection valve another one-half turn. (It is now one turn open.)
2
Operate pump to increase pressure slowly to 2,200 psi. Close pump isolator valve.
