2-30. FUEL PUMP REPLACEMENT (CONT)

Remove hollow screws and two flatwashers from each fuel line. Let fuel lines drop.

Remove three mounting nuts and flatwashers. Remove fuel pump.

Remove and discard gasket.

Installation

Clean gasket mounting surface.

Install gasket.

Install fuel pump. Install three flatwashers and mounting nuts.

Install flatwasher on banjo bolt. Install banjo bolt through fitting on end of fuel line. Install second flatwasher.
WARNING
Be sure fuel lines are securely connected and free of leaks. Leaking fuel can cause fire or
explosion.

Install fuel line. Tighten banjo bolt.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 for other fuel line.
