a. Remove nut (5), lever (6), packing gland screw (7), seal (8), preformed packing (9), and stem (10). Discard seal (8)
and preformed packing (9).
b. Remove seat seals (11) and ball (12). Discard seat seals.
Repair consists of replacing all seals, preformed packing and any damaged components.

NOTE
Be sure to install ball so that slot is on top as shown in Figure 2-19.1.
Install ball (12) and seat seals (11) in valve body (3).
NOTE
Be sure that tab on bottom of stem fits into slot of the ball.
Install stem (10) into ball (12).
Install preformed packing (9), seal (8), packing gland screw (7), lever (6), and nut (5).
Tighten packing gland screw (7) finger tight.
INSTALLATION.
NOTE
Valve body must be positioned so that valve handle is toward the RO vessels and so
that the valve can be closed (handle rotated 90° upward). (Refer to Figure 3-12, TM
10-4610-232-12.)
a. Position valve body (3) within brackets (4).
b. Install one bolt (2) and nut (1) and torque all four nuts (1) to 265 in./lb.
c. Close valve.
