Front belt guard screens are replaced at unit level.
a. Remove sixteen capscrews (1, Figure 2-83), Iockwashers (2), washers (3) and clamp (4). Remove rear screen (5),
b. Remove neoprene trim (6) if necessary.
c. Remove straight edge (7).
d. Remove four capscrews (8), nuts (9), Iockwashers (10), washers (11) and remove two fastener loops (12).
e. Remove ten capscrews (13), Iockwashers (14), washers (15) and remove top panel (16). Rails (17) now free.

Remove four rivets (18) and name plate (19).
Remove sixteen capscrews (20), Iockwasher (21) and washers (22). Panels (23) and channels (24) will now be

Remove two capscrews (30), Iockwashers (31), and washers (32). Support (29) is now free.
Remove fifty-four spring nuts (33), if necessary, from channels (24) and supports (28 and 29).
Remove four capscrews(34), washers (35), nuts (36), Iockwashers (37), washers(38) and remove guard plate (39)
from pump skid (40).

Replace damaged or missing hardware,
Clean dirt and paint from area to be repaired,
Weld damaged areas. For welding procedures refer to TM 9-237.
Paint all areas repaired. Refer to TM 43-0139.
