WARNING
This motor is very heavy. Use care to avoid injury from attempting to lift or move the
motor.
Remove four nuts (1, Figure 2-84), Iockwashers (2) and washers (3). Motor is now free.
Attach suitable lifting device to eyebolt (4) and remove motor (5).
Remove four capscrews (6), washers (7), nuts (8), Iockwashers (9) and washers (10).
Remove motor mounting base (11).
NOTE
Cable is removed at unit level but repaired at direct support.
a. Repair cable (para. 2-7).
b. Repair of motor or base is by replacement.
a. Mount motor mounting base (11), Secure with four capscrews (6), washers (7), nuts (8), Iockwashers (9) and
washers (10).
b. Attach suitable lifting device to eyebolt (4) and mount motor (6) onto mounting base (11).
c. Secure with four washers (3), Iockwashers (2) and nuts (1).
