WARNING
Make sure electrical power is disconnected before working on unit. Failure to do so
could result in serious injury from electrical shock or moving parts.
Inspect the high pressure pump piping and components for leaky connections or damaged parts. See Figure 2-85.
a. Remove four bolts (1), washers (2 and 3), Iockwasher (4) and nut (5).
b. Remove pipe (6) and gasket (7), and discard gasket.
c. Remove valve (8) and nipple (9) from pulse dampener (19).
d. Remove eight capscrews (10), washers (11 and 12), Iockwashers (13) and nut (14).
e. Remove four capscrews (1 5), Iockwashers (16) and washers (17).
f. Remove two straps (18).
g. Lift and remove pulse dampener(19) off bracket (24).
h. Remove and discard gasket (20).
i. Remove four capscrews (21), Iockwasher (22), washers (23) and remove bracket (24).
Replace any damaged parts.
a. Install support bracket (24) and secure with four capscrews (21), Iockwashers (22) and washers (23).
b. Position pulse dampener (19) on support brackets (24).
c. Install new gasket (20), eight capscrews (10), washers (11 and 12), Iockwasher (13) and nuts (14).
d. Install two straps(18) to bracket (24) with four capscrews(15), Iockwashers (16) and washers (17).
e. Install nipple (9) and valve (8) to pulse dampener (19).
f. Install new gasket (7) and pipe (6). Secure with four capscrews (1), washers(2 and 3), lockwashers(4) and nuts(5).
