a. Remove capscrews (1, Figure 4-89), washers (2), Iockwashers (3), nuts (4) and straps (5).
b. Remove capscrews (6), washers (7), Iockwashers (8), nuts (9) and plate (10).
c. Remove capscrews (11), washers (12), Iockwashers (13), nuts (14) and straps (15).
d. Remove capscrews (16), washers (17), Iockwashers (18), nuts (19) and bracket (20).
e. Remove ground lug (21).
NOTE
Air bags next to van do not have air lines.
f. Remove capscrews (22), Iockwashers (23), washers (24), air bag (25), spacer (26) and air line (27).
a. Replace damaged or worn parts.
b. Weld damaged areas in accordance with TM 9-237.
c. Replace damaged data plates (para. 4-10, TM 10-4610 -232-1 2).

NOTE
Air bags, next to van, do not have air lines.
Install air line (27) on air bag (25).
Install spacer (26) on air bag (25) and secure with capscrew (22), Iockwasher (23) and washer (24).
Install ground lug (21).
Install bracket (20) and secure with capscrews (16), washers (17), Iockwashers (18) and nuts (19).
Install straps (15) and secure with capscrews (11), washers (12), Iockwashers (13) and nuts (14).
Install plate (10) and secure with capscrews (6), washers (7), Iockwashers (8) and nuts (9).
Install straps (5) and secure with capscrews (1), washers (2), Iockwashers (3) and nuts (4).
