Tools, see TM 10-4610-232-12, Appx B, Sec Ill, Ref Code (No.): TOOI Kit, General Mechanics Automotive(1) Hand Riveter (4) Lifting Equipment (8) Materials/Parts: Rivets (Appx B, Sec II, Item 59) Lockwashers (TM 10-4610-232-24P) Washers (TM 10-4610-232-24P) Personnel Required: 4 Equipment Condition: Main control panel light removed (para. 4-28, TM 10-4610-232-12). Pressure gage assemblies removed (para. 2-19). Cables and connectors removed (para. 2-21). ROWPU shutdown. Rubber floor mat removed from ROWPU. General Safety Instructions: WARNING Observe specific Warning in text. WARNING The main control panel is heavy. Do not attempt to move it without adequate personnel and lifting equipment. Serious injury and damage to the equipment could result if this precaution is not observed. a. Refer to Figure 3-1 and remove three capscrews (1), Iockwashers (2) and washers (3), connector(4) and eyebolt (5), which secure door holder (6) to the roof of the ROWPU. Open door. b. Remove the four floor-mounted tie down clamps (7) by removing rivets (8). C. Disconnect the tubing (9) from the bottom of pressure switch (10). d. Remove the two control panel support bars (11) by removing two capscrews(12), nuts (13) and washers (14). Vibration pads (15) will now be free. e. Remove three capscrews (16), washers (17), nuts (18), Iockwashers (19) and washers (20) which connect the rear of the control panel to the divider panel of the accessory table. f. Remove capscrew (21), washer (22), nut (23), lockwasher (24) and washer (25) which connect the right hand side of the control panel to the accessory table. g. Remove the four capscrews (26), Iockwashers (27) and washers (28) which secure the main control panel to the floor of the ROWPU. WARNING The main control panel is heavy. Do not attempt to move it without adequate personnel and lifting equipment. Serious injury and damage to the equipment could result if this precaution is not observed. h. Position two personnel on each side of the main control panel and “walk” the panel toward the doorway, alternating from side to side. i. Using a suitable lifting device, remove the control panel from ROWPU. j. Remove vibration pads (29). 3-2
