Test.
(1)
Secure motor to test bench.
WARNING
Electrical high voltages can cause serious injury or death. Always
take proper measures to ensure personal safety.
(2)
Connect motor wiring to test bench leads.
(3)
Apply power and run motor with and without load.
(4)
If motor won't start; turn off power, spin shaft by hand, and turn on power while shaft is spinning. If motor
continues to run, stationary switch and capacitor must be tested after disassembly.
(5)
Disconnect motor from test bench leads.
