UNIT MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
1. Remove a contactor/surge suppressor as follows (see Figure 5):
a. Open the power distribution panel and locate the contactor/surge suppressor to be
replaced.
b. Tag the wires attached to the contactor/surge suppressor.
c. Loosen the screw terminal connections and remove the connecting wires.
d. Using a flat-tip screwdriver, insert it into the DIN rail holding clip at the bottom right side of
the contactor. Gently pry down on the holding clip with the screwdriver to release the clip
from the DIN rail. Then lift up on the contactor and remove it from the DIN rail.
e. Remove the surge suppressor clip from the contactor.
