WATER PUMP HOUSING REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

INSTALLATION
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during the
procedure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear
of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may result in death or injury
to personnel.
NOTE
Water pump housing weighs 115 lb (52 kg).
1.
Attach nylon sling and suitable lifting device to water pump housing (17).
2.
With assistance, position water pump housing (17) and mounting bracket (16) on water distributor frame (18).
NOTE
Do NOT tighten nuts until water pump housing installation and alignment are complete.
3.
Install two bolts (15), four flatwashers (14), two new lockwashers (13), and nuts (12) to mounting bracket (16) and
water distributor frame (18).
