3-30. START AND STOP CONTROL SWITCHES.
a.
General. The thirteen START and STOP control switches (fig. 3-14) are pushbutton operated. They are located
on the inside of the electrical control cabinet. They are used for starting and stopping the electric motors on the
equipment.
b.
Cleaning. Clean the switch terminals with fine sandpaper.
c.
Inspection.
(1)
Inspect terminal lugs for looseness or damaged threads.
(2)
Inspect switches for cracks and faulty pushbuttons.
