3-34. DUPLEX RECEPTACLE CONNECTORS, 110 AND 24 VOLTS.
a.
General. Duplex 110 and 24 volt receptacle connectors (fig. 3-18) are located on the ceiling, side walls, and
front end of the van body. These receptacle connectors are used to connect the electric power to the heater, heater fuel
pump, trouble light, and other accessory equipment.
WARNING
Dry-cleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts is potentially dangerous to personnel and property. Wear chemical
resistant gloves when using solvents, and avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact. Do not use near open flame or
excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100 degrees F to 138 degrees F (38 degrees C to 59 degrees C).
b.
Cleaning. Clean receptacle connector with a clean cloth dampened wit
dry-cleaning solvent.
c.
Inspection. Inspect the receptacle connector for cracks, burned or loose terminal lugs, and for failure to hold
plug connector firmly when it is inserted.
