Step 1.
Check for slurry blanket rising too rapidly.
Reduce agitator speed.
Step 2.
Check for slurry blanket rising above circular baffle.
Adjust the valve DV-21 (fig. 2-13).
Step 3.
Check for valves not correctly positioned.
Reposition valves CV-16 and CV-17, and DV-21 (fig. 2-19 and 2-13).
12. WET WELL FAILS TO DELIVER ENOUGH CLEAR WATER.
Step 1.
Check for valves not positioned correctly.
Reposition the valves CV-17 and DV-25 (fig. 2-19 and 2-13).
13. DIATOMITE FILTER PUMP WILL NOT DELIVER WATER .
Step 1.
Check for valves not positioned correctly.
Reposition valves CV-36 and CV-34 (fig. 4-58).
Step 2.
Air leaks on suction side of pump.
Tighten connections and stop all leaks.
Step 3.
Check for sheared impeller key.
Report trouble to direct support maintenance.
