Installation.
(1)
Attaching cables and positioning van body on truck.
(a)
Attach four cables (1, fig. 4-6) to lifting shackle brackets (3) located at base of van. Use spreader
bars (2) to keep cables from pressing against van.
(b)
Using suitable hoisting equipment, slowly lift van body over truck chassis.
(c)
Carefully lower van body so that mounting screw holes are aligned with those of angle brackets
attached to truck frame.
(2)
Securing van body to truck.
(a)
Position wood rail (13, fig. 4-17), wood spacers (8), and bottom mounting bracket (9) against truck
frame and secure each side of the front of body to truck chassis (14) with bolts (3), spring (5), washer (2), and nut (1).
