Repaint parts that had been painted if paint has peeled or is damaged.

Reassembly and Installation of Counterbalance Assemblies.
(1)
Open top door and support it in open position.
(2)
Place cable (8, fig. 4-24) in groove of each top roller (7) and slide rollers in position under roller mounting
brackets (14). Install pins (6) and secure them with cotter pins (5).
(3)
Attach cable terminal forks (9) to cable bars (10) with screws (2) and nuts (4).
(4)
Position guides (12) over cable bars (10) and secure them to van body with screws (11).
(5)
Attach upright arms (13) to cable bars (10) and top door brackets (1) with screws (2), washers (3), and nuts
(4).
(6)
Position upper folding arms (1, fig. 4-27) against van body with channels up.
(7)
Position rollers (3) in folding arms (1), with the cables (11) behind them, and install pins (4) and secure
them with cotter pins (2).
(8)
Install turnbuckles (10) on cables (11) and cable eyes (9) on turnbuckles.
(9)
If the folding arms (1 and 8) were separated, reconnect them with rivets (6) and washers (7).
(10) Position he lower folding arms (8) and the cable eyes (9) in the brackets in the bottom door and secure
them with pins (4), flat washers (7), and cotter pins (2).

Installation of Bottom Door.
(1)
Position bottom door (3, fig. 4-28) in closed position, against van body (5) with hinge mounting holes
aligned with holes in van body.
(2)
Block or tie door to prevent it from slipping or falling.
(3)
Secure hinges (2) to van body (5) with washers (4) and screws (1).
(4)
Lower and block door (3).
(5)
Connect lower folding arms and cables (para. 4-31).
(6)
Remove blocking and close doors.
