RAW WATER PRESSURE GAGE.
a.
General. The raw water pressure gage (1, fig. 4-50) is located between the two effluent launders in the raw
water piping. It registers the pressure in the raw water line. The normal operating reading of this pressure gage with two
gate valves open is 5 to 7 psi. If the air pressure rises above 7 psi it indicates that the aspirators are clogged.
