(12) Install a nipple (11) in plug valve (2) and screw tee (12) on it.
(13) Screw half of union (10) on other nipple (11) and install nipple in tee (12).
(14) Install nipple (13) in tee (12) and an elbow (14) on it.
(15) Install nipple (15) in elbow (14) and the other elbow (14) on the nipple.
(16) Install pipe (1) in elbow (14).
(17) Lift assembly connected together as shown in figure 4-85, and position it at the connecting points of the
unit.
(18) Make sure gasket is in position on discharge side if pump flange and secure flange (1, fig. 4-84) to
pump flange with four screws (2).
(19) Connect unions (19 and 3).
(20) Tighten slip joint coupling (11) on pipes (10) and secure precoat funnel to diatomite filter.
(21) Install nipple (12, fig. 4-83) in wet well tank (13).
(22) Install a tee (11) on nipple (12).
(23) Install union (10), nipple (9), an elbow (7), nipple (8) and the other elbow (7) on nipple (8).
(24) Install pipe (6) in elbow (7) and tee with union (4) on pipe (6) and nipple (1).
(25) Secure pipe (6) to van body floor with clamp (5).
(26) Install pipe (3) in tee with union (4) and elbow union (2) on pipe (3).
(27) Install the other nipple (1) in elbow in union (2).
(28) Install quick acting valve (16, fig. 4-84) on nipple (1, fig. 4-83) and secure handle (14, fig. 4-84) to
valve stem with nut (15).
(29) Install pipe (18) in quick acting valve (16) and elbow (12) on pipe (18).
(30) Secure pipe (18) to van body floor with the U-bolt (25) and attaching nuts and washers.
(31) Install flange (21) on nipple (20) and screw nipple (20) in elbow (12).
