Clean, Inspect and Replace.
WARNING
Drycleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts is potentially dangerous to personnel and property.
Wear chemical resistant gloves when using solvents, and avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact.
Do not use near open flame or excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100 degrees F to 138
degrees F (38 degrees C to 59 degrees C).

Clean all parts in drycleaning solvent.
(2)
Inspect all parts for damage.
(3)
Replace all damaged parts.

Reassembly and Installation.
(1)
Install bushing (12, fig. 4-87) in the slurry feeder tank (3, fig. 4-86) and nipple (11) in bushing, then install
half of union (1) on nipple (11, fig. 4-87).
(2)
Connect other half of union (1) to valve (8) with nipple (11), and connect valve (9) and tee (10) with nipple
(11).
(3)
Install nipple (9) in tee (10) and valve (8) on nipple (9).
(4)
Install other nipple (11) in valve (8) and adapter (7) onto nipple (11).
(5)
Install elbow (4) on nipple (6) and nipple (6) in tee (10).
(6)
Install nipple (2) in elbow (4), half of union (1) on nipple (2) and pipe (5) into union half (1), and connect the
union (1).
