Install half of other union (1) on nipple (2), other half of union on pipe (3), and connect pipes (3 and 5) with
other elbow (4).
4-103. SECTION OF FILTERED WATER PIPING TO OUTLET IN VAN BODY.
a.
General. This piping is located between the tee in the effluent filtered water line and the outlet in the van body.
It is painted green and carries the filtered water to the outlet in the van body.
b.
Removal and Disassembly.
(1)
Loosen up on the two hose clamps (5, fig. 4-88) and slide hose (6) from two adapters (4).
(2)
Remove adapters (4) from elbow (7) and valve (2) and valve from pipe (3).
(3)
Remove pipe (3) from tee (1).
(4)
Remove elbow (7) from nipple (8).
(5)
Remove nipple (8) from van body.
c.
Clean, Inspect, and Replace.
WARNING
Drycleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts is potentially dangerous to personnel and property.
Wear chemical resistant gloves when using solvents, and avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact.
Do not use near open flame or excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100 degrees F to 138
degrees F (38 degrees C to 59 degrees C).

Clean all parts in drycleaning solvent.
(2)
Inspect all parts for damage.
(3)
Replace all damaged parts.

Reassembly and Installation.
(1)
Install nipple (8, fig. 4-88) in van body and elbow (7) on nipple (8).
