Clean, Inspect and Replace.
WARNING
Drycleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts is potentially dangerous to personnel and property.
Wear chemical resistant gloves when using solvents, and avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact.
Do not use near open flame or excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100 degrees F to 138
degrees F (38 degrees C to 59 degrees C).

Clean all parts in drycleaning solvent.
(2)
Inspect all parts for damage.
(3)
Replace all damaged parts.

Reassembly and Installation.
(1)
Install elbow (8, fig. 4-90) on nipple (7) and nipple (7) in tee (3).
(2)
Install nipple (2) in tee (3) and connect union (1) on nipple.
(3)
Install pipe (4) in tee (3).
(4)
Install other pipe (4) in elbow (6) and connect both pieces of pipe (4) together with coupling (5).
(5)
Install elbow (6) on nipple (2).
(6)
Connect other union to nipple (2).
(7)
Disconnect two unions (1) and install male portions in two effluent plug valves (5, fig. 4-89).
(8)
Position piping assembly with two female portions of unions on to male portions in plug valves, and
connect unions (1).
(9)
Connect section of filtered water piping leading to outside of van body (para 4-103).
(10)
Connect filtered water piping leading to slurry feeder (para 4-102).
(11)
Secure filtered water piping between plug valves to piping support (4, fig. 4-89) with U-bolt (6) and
washers (3) and nuts (2).
