CAUTION
Make sure water does not accumulate around the electrical generator or electric power lines and
cables. Do not drain waste water into the raw water supply source.

Installation and Connection of Electrical Cables.
(1)
General. Electricity required to operate the electrical components of the water purification unit in the field
is obtained from the 10 kw gasoline engine driven generator set furnished with the equipment. An external power source
other than the 10 kw generator may be available and can be utilized to advantage.
NOTE
If an external power line hook-up is necessary arrange for a qualified electrician to make the electrical
connection.

Raw water pump.
(a)
Connect raw water pump cable (19, fig. 2-6), male plug connector to the female plug connector end
of a 50-foot extension power electric cable assembly. Remove cable outlet cap (7, fig. 1-2) on the van body. Insert the
6-foot extension cable assembly (1, fig. 2-7) through the van body cable outlet. Connect the male plug connector of the
cable to the female marked RAW WATER PUMP, located below the chemical solution receptacle. Connect the opposite
end of the 6-foot extension cable to the male plug connector of the 50-foot cable (19, fig. 2-6).
