2-46. OIL BATH AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT)
a. Removal and Disassembly

Release three clips. Remove bottom part of filter housing.

Remove filter element from housing. Discard oil.
3
Loosen clamp.

Remove air cleaner bonnet.
5
Remove two bolts and lockwashers. Remove air cleaner housing and gasket. Discard gasket.

Clean inside of air filter housing.
b. Assembly and Installation
1
Install gasket and air cleaner housing. Install two lockwashers and bolts.
2
Install air cleaner bonnet. Tighten clamp.
CAUTION
To prevent improper engine operation, do not overfill air filter bottom.

Fill air filter bottom with engine oil (MIL-L-2104) to MAXIMUM line.
