2-56. STARTER REPLACEMENT (CONT)
a. Removal
1 Tag and disconnect three wires.

Remove two mounting bolts and lockwashers.
3
Remove starter.
b. Installation
1
Install starter on pump housing. Install two mounting bolts and lockwashers.
2
Connect three electrical leads and remove tags.
3
Connect battery (para 2-16).
