2-74. MULTIDEDIA FILTER ASSEMBLY REPAIR (CONT)
NOTE
Repair of the multimedia filter assembly consists of replacement of defective parts.
a. Disassembly
1
Tag and disconnect hoses from top and bottom connections.

Remove elbow from top connection.
3
Remove wire from top connection.
4
Remove wire from bottom connection.
5
Remove pipe plug, reducer bushing, sheet, and screen from bottom of filter.
6
Remove nut and blow clamp.
7
Remove and discard gasket.
8
Remove access hole cover.
9
Remove vent cock assembly from top of filter.
10
Remove nipple from vent cock.
