V-Belts Installation
NOTE
Always use a new set of matched V-belts when replacing belts.

Install V-belts on pulleys.

Install belt tensioner assembly, two brackets, and four flatwashers and bolts.
3
Tighten two adjusting screws. Tighten two locknuts.
4
Pump grease into grease fittings.
5
Adjust V-belts (subpara d).

V-Belts Adjustment
1
Place a rule on V-belt in a straight line with bearing bases.

Place pointer of tension meter on the line on the center of the front belt.
NOTE
Do not contact O-ring on tester stem.
3
Press down on tester stem until register flange just contacts the next belt.
