2-108. FUEL TANK REPLACEMENT (CONT)
b. Removal
1
Remove fuel sensor (subpara a).
WARNING
To prevent fire or explosion, do not bring sparks or open flame near diesel fuel.

Remove two auxiliary fuel lines, fuel lines, and fuel return lines.

Place drain pan under fuel tank drain plug. Remove plug.
4
Let fuel drain. Install plug.
5 Remove four fuel tank strap nuts and flatwashers. Move two straps out of the way.
6
Remove fuel tank.
c. Installation

Install fuel tank.
2
Reinstall fuel tank straps and secure with flatwashers and nuts.
