3-4. RAW WATER PUMP REPAIR (CONT)
a. Disassembly
CAUTION
Care must be taken not to mar or scratch the stainless steel shaft or the surfaces of the seal.
NOTE
The pump must be at room temperature before disassembly. Repair of the pump must
be in a clean area.

Remove pressure gage.

Remove retaining ring and strainer.
3
Remove eight nuts, lockwashers, flatwashers, and studs from intermediate housing.

Remove pump housing and housing gasket.
5
Bend up tab on lockwasher.
