Remove benzing lock and axle from base.

Remove thrust piece, spring, and lever.

Remove shaped gasket from base.

Remove hand lever assembly.

Remove snapring, flatwasher, cord ring, spring, and distance ring.
b. Assembly

Install distance ring, spring, cord ring, flatwasher, and snapring.

Install hand lever assembly in base.
3
Install thrust piece and spring in lever.
4
Install shaped gasket and lever assembly in base.
5
Install collar, hold-down device, spring, and diaphragm in base.
6
Install housing on base. Install six screws.
7
Install filter.
8
Install packing ring and cap.
9
Install packing ring and screw.
10
Install fuel pump (para 2-30 or 2-45).
