Assembly
1
Install drive assembly, ring, and lever assembly.

Install plunger assembly in lever housing. Install plunger assembly nut.

Install shaft, seal, and two snaprings.

Install gasket and plug in lever housing.
5
Connect solenoid to lever housing.
6
Install armature and clutch.
7
Install retainer on shaft. Install snapring.
8
Using position marks, install gasket and field frame to lever housing.
9
Install brush plate assembly.
10
Install brushes. Check tension of springs and be sure brushes are pressed snugly to commutator.

Install O-ring and commutator end frame. Install washers and bolts.

Install washer, bushing, insulator, washer, lockwasher, nut, lead, washer, and nut on brush plate assembly
connector.
13
Install four solenoid mounting bolts.

Install field coil connector. Install washers and nuts.
15
Using position marks, install gasket and nose housing on lever housing. Install bolts.
16
Install lever housing to field frame bolts.
17
Connect leads from brush holders. Install four brush lead screws.
18
Install brush inspection plugs.
19
Repeat no-load test (subpara a).
