Remove eight pedestal mounting bolts and nuts. Remove pedestal legs.

Remove breather filter.

Remove two oil ring retainers and O-rings.
b. Cleaning and Inspection
WARNING
· Solvent may cause toxic fumes. To prevent personal injury, work only in well ventilated area.
DO NOT breathe fumes for a long time.
· Solvent is flammable. To prevent fire or explosion, DO NOT bring open flame or sparks near
solvent.
WARNING
To prevent injury to eyes, always wear protective goggles when working with compressed air.
CAUTION
Do not clean seals or rubber components in solvent. Damage to components will result.

Clean all metal parts in solvent. Blow dry.

Inspect parts for cracks and other damage. Inspect for nicks, scars, and scratches on mating surfaces that may
cause leaks. Replace as required.
