2-14. SKID--MOUNTED RAW WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (CONT)
WARNING
To prevent fire or explosion, do not bring sparks or open flame near diesel fuel.

Removal

Remove auxiliary fuel lines.

Place drain pan under fuel tank.
3
Remove drain plug and drain fuel. Install drain plug.
4
Open cam arms. Remove suction hose from pump inlet.
5
Following directions on skid, use suitable lifting device to remove pump assembly.

Installation
1
Following directions on skid, use suitable lifting device to install pump assembly.

Install diffuser (para 2-23).
3
Install discharge hose on diffuser.
4
Install suction hose on pump inlet. Close cam arms.
5
Fill fuel tank with fuel. (See TM 10-4610-229-10. )
6
Install auxiliary fuel lines.
