Raw Water Pump Charging System Test

Unbuckle battery box strap. Remove battery box cover.

Set multimeter to 15-volt scale.

Connect positive lead to POS (+) battery post.

Connect negative lead to NEG (-) battery post.

Check voltage.

Watch multimeter. Start engine. (See TM 10-4610-229-10.)

Check reading. It should be between 12 to 14.8 volts. If it is not, notify your supervisor.
