2-26. FUEL TANK REPLACEMENT (CONT)

Fuel Filter Removal
1
Place drain pan under fuel tank.
WARNING
To prevent fire or explosion, do not bring sparks or open flame near diesel fuel.

Remove drain plug. Drain fuel. Reinsert and tighten drain plug.

Remove hollow screw and two flatwashers and let fuel line drop.
4
Unscrew filter and remove.
5
Remove gasket from filter and discard.

Fuel Filter Installation
1
Clean gasket mounting surface.

Install gasket on filter.
