Install springs (10) and contacts (9) and install contact assembly (8).

Install pole piece (5) In coil (4) and Install as an assembly.

Install contact cover (7) and secure with captive screws (6).
CAUTION
Moveable contactor assembly must be in the open (OFF) position to install cover.

Install coil cover (3) and secure with captive screws (1).
(10)
Install auxiliary contact (2) by pushing down and snapping in.

Refer to Figure 2-33 and assemble motor starter MS8-1 M as follows:
(1)
Install contacts (13) and springs (14) and install moveable contact assembly (12).
(2)
Place pole piece (9) in coil (8) and install as an assembly.
(3)
Install contact cover (11) and secure with captive screws (10).
(4)
Install overload heater (16) and secure with screws (15),
CAUTION
Moveable contactor assembly must be in the open (OFF) position to install cover.
(5)
Install cover (7) and secure with captive screws (3).
(6)
Install auxiliary contacts (4 and 5) by pressing down and snapping in.
(7)
Install time delay contact (6) on motor starter by pressing down and snapping In.
(8)
Install jumper (2) and secure with screw (1).

Refer to Figure 2-32, sheet 2 and install the five typical motor starters (68) as follows:
(1)
Install motor starters (68) and secure with washer (67) and screws (66).
(2)
Connect all wires to motor starters (68) as tagged. Refer to para. 2-21.
(3)
Close and latch lower exterior door.

Install circuit breakers (51) and panel (61) as follows:
(1)
If removed, install channel (65), secure with washers (64), lockwashers (63) and capscrews (62).
(1.1) (Model ROWPU-1 only) If removed install clamp (60E) with screw (60A), flat washer (60B), lockwasher
(60C) and nut (60D)on to panel (61).
(2)
If removed, install panel (61), secure with capscrews (54), lockwashers (55) and washers (56). Install four
capscrews (57), eight washers (58), four lockwashers (59) and four nuts (60).
(3)
If removed, mount tie mount (53) and secure with screw (52).
(4)
Install circuit breaker (51), secure with screws (47), washers (48), lockwashers (49) and nuts (50).
(5)
Connect all wires to circuit breakers (51) as tagged. Refer to para. 2-21.
(6)
Close and latch lower exterior door.

Install resistors (46) as follows:
(1)
Install resistors (46) and secure with capscrews (44) and washers (45).
(2)
Connect all electrical wires to resistors (46), as tagged, by securing with screws (40), washers (41),
lockwashers (42) and nuts (43).
(3)
Close and latch lower exterior door.

Install two terminal boards (31 thru 39) as follows:
