TM 10-4610-232-34c.d.e.Reinstall capscrews (1) into threaded holes of bushing (3).NOTEIt may be necessary to tap the sheave gently to break the parts loose.Tighten the capscrews (1) evenly and alternately to push sheave (4) off bushing (3).Loosen setscrew (5).CAUTIONThe bushing will split if screwdriver or chisel is tapped too hard.f. Tap a screwdriver or chisel into the split line of the bushing(3) just as far enough to allow removal of the bushing(3)from the motor shaft.WARNINGTo avoid injury, two personnel are required to remove sheave from pump shaft.g. Remove pump shaft key (6) and slide sheave (4) off pump shaft.WARNINGTo avoid injury, two personnel are required to install sheave on pump shaft.CAUTIONTo avoid damage to bolts, do not lubricate hub or sheave.a. Slide sheave (4) on pump shaft and install pump shaft key (6).CAUTIONThe bushing will split if the screwdriver or chisel is tapped too hard.b. Tap screwdriver or chisel into the split line of the bushing (3) just far enough to allow you to slide bushing (3) onpump shaft. Align with scribed line on pump shaft.NOTEEnsure bushing and scribe marks on shaft align.c. Tighten setscrew (5).d. Remove capscrews (1) from bushing (3) and slide sheave on bushing shoulder.e. Reinstall capscrews (1) and Iockwashers (2) through bushing (3) into threads on sheave (4).f. Tighten capscrews (1) evenly and alternately until all are tight.2-248
