TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES
HIGH-PRESSURE PUMP
GENERAL
This work package lists the common malfunctions that you may find during the direct support/general support
troubleshooting of the Lightweight Water Purifier (LWP) high-pressure plunger pump assembly. You should
perform the tests/inspections and corrective action in the order listed. This pump contains three stainless steel
valves to pressurize the fluid system from the Ultrafiltration module for entry into the Reverse Osmosis (RO)
element module.
This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor all tests or inspections and corrective actions. If a
malfunction is not listed or is not corrected by listed corrective actions, notify your supervisor.
