Remove cotter pin (4) and remove arm (7) from channel.

Remove two cotter pins (2, fig. 4-22), then lift window assembly (4) from van body door.

Remove sixteen screws (3, fig. 4-23) and the frame (1).
(6)
Remove glass (2) and seal (5) as an assembly.
(7)
Remove seal (5) from window glass (2).

Replace. Replace all parts that are unserviceable.

Installation.
(1)
Install seal (5, fig. 4-23) around window glass (2).
(2)
Install glass (2) and seal as an assembly in window.
(3)
Position frame (1) in window and secure it with sixteen screws (3).
(4)
Position window assembly (4, fig. 4-22) in van body door and install two cotter pins (2) in the hinges.
(5)
Position lever arm (7, fig. 4-23) in frame channel and secure it with the cotter pin (4).
(6)
Turn hand crank (6) clockwise and close window.
(7)
Position guard (1, fig. 4-22) to window and secure it with four screws (3).
4-30. VAN BODY LEFT SIDE TOP DOOR.
a.
Removal.
(1)
Open top and bottom doors to fullest extent; support top door with a crane or with some other suitable
device.
(2)
Support bottom door to prevent it from dropping when counterbalance is disconnected.
(3)
Remove nuts (4, fig. 2-24), flat washers (3), and screws (2) securing upright arms (13) to angle brackets (1)
and lower upright arms away from door.
(4)
Remove screws (2, fig. 4-25) which secure hinge (1) to van body (4).
(5)
Lower door assembly onto blocking or cribbing for disassembly.
(6)
Remove screws (2, fig. 4-24) and angle bracket (1) from door.
