When coagulated water flowing from erdlator tank to wet well tank is clear, close gate drain valve
DV-25 (4, fig. 2-16).
NOTE
The coagulated water in the wet well tank will overflow to waste, through the overflow pipe in the wet
well tank, until the filter section is in operation.

Adjust float arm of float valve FV-18 (10, fig. 2-14) if float valve does not completely close when
water level in wet well tank drops 10 inches (25.4 cm). Loosen thumbscrew securing float rod to float arm and move arm
up or down until valve opens.

Close valve DV-49 (16, fig. 2-23) and valve CV-40 (11) in filter water lines.

Close draincocks DC-42 (12) and DC-44 (13) and open draincocks DC-41 (10) and DC-43 (9).

Close draincock DC-39 (15) located in recirculation filter line below gate valve CV-40 (11).
