2-49. EXHAUST SYSTEM REPLACEMENT (CONT)
a. Removal
1
Loosen clamp bolt. Remove cap.
2
Loosen clamp. Remove exhaust pipe.
3
Remove six nuts.
4
Remove muffler. Remove and discard gaskets.
b. Installation
1
Clean gasket mounting surfaces.
2
Install gaskets on muffler.
3
Install muffler. Install six nuts.
4
Install exhaust pipe and clamp. Tighten clamp.
5
Install exhaust cap and clamp. Tighten clamp bolt.
