V-Belts. Check belts for wear, cracks, and proper
adjustment. Adjust or replace as required (para 2-81).

Pillow Block Assembly. Check for cracks and loose
mounting hardware. Tighten loose mounting hardware.

Diesel Engine. Check throttle and emergency shutoff
cord for proper operation. Repair as required (para
