2-101. INLET MANIFOLD REPLACEMENT

Remove two fuel filter assembly nuts and flatwashers.

Remove bolt from top of inlet pipe elbow.

Remove four inlet pipe elbow mounting bolts and flatwashers. Move temperature sensor line aside. Remove
inlet pipe elbow and gasket. Discard gasket.

Remove 12 manifold mounting bolts, flatwashers, and fuel line clamp bracket. Mark location of bracket.

Remove manifold and six gaskets. Discard gaskets.
b. Installation

Clean manifold and cylinder head gasket mounting surfaces.

Install six gaskets and manifold.

Install fuel line clamp bracket. Install 12 flatwashers and mounting bolts.

Install gasket and inlet pipe elbow. Install temperature sensor line mounting clamp. Install four flatwashers and
mounting bolts.

Install bolt at top of inlet pipe elbow.
6
Install fuel filter assembly. Install two flatwashers and nuts.
7
Install instrument panel. Install two spacers, flatwashers, and bolts.
