2-111. REVERSE OSMOSIS BLOCK ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (C ONT)
a. Removal
1
Remove reverse osmosis membranes from pressure tubes. (See TM 10-4610-229-10.)

Remove product water hose from connection C-25.

Remove brine concentrate hose from connection C-8.

Remove two nuts, two bolts, two coupling halves, and gasket from elbow on connection C-7. Disconnect high
pressure hose.

Remove two nuts, two bolts, two coupling halves, and gasket from connection C-7. Remove elbow.

Following directions on skid, use suitable lifting device to remove reverse osmosis block assembly.
b. Installation
1
Following directions on skid, use suitable lifting device to install reverse osmosis block assembly.

Check gasket removed from C-7 for damage. Replace as required. Apply thin coat of silicone lubricant to
gasket lips and outside of gasket.
3 Place gasket over end of connection C-7, being sure it doesn't overhang end of connection.
