Aline end of elbow with connection. Slide gasket to center portion between connection groove and elbow groove.
No portion of gasket should overhang grooves.
5 Place coupling halves over gasket. Make sure coupling half keys are in grooves on connection C-7 and elbow.

Install two bolts. Place nuts on bolts and hand-tighten.
CAUTION
Overtightening nuts may cause gasket to pinch. Tighten nuts only until coupling halves are firmly
together (metal-to-metal).

Tighten nuts alternately and equally until coupling halves are firmly together.

Repeat steps 2 thru 7 to connect high pressure hose to elbow.

Connect product water hose to connection C-25. Close cam arms.

Connect brine concentrate hose to connection C-8. Close cam arms.
11 Install reverse osmosis membranes. (See TM 10-4610-229-10.)
