TM 10-4610-229-242-111. REVERSE OSMOSIS BLOCK ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (CONT)4Aline end of elbow with connection. Slide gasket to center portion between connection groove and elbow groove.No portion of gasket should overhang grooves.5 Place coupling halves over gasket. Make sure coupling half keys are in grooves on connection C-7 and elbow.6Install two bolts. Place nuts on bolts and hand-tighten.CAUTIONOvertightening nuts may cause gasket to pinch. Tighten nuts only until coupling halves are firmlytogether (metal-to-metal).7Tighten nuts alternately and equally until coupling halves are firmly together.8Repeat steps 2 thru 7 to connect high pressure hose to elbow.9Connect product water hose to connection C-25. Close cam arms.10Connect brine concentrate hose to connection C-8. Close cam arms.11 Install reverse osmosis membranes. (See TM 10-4610-229-10.)2-112.
