15 Remove ball and O-ring from upper cage.

Remove housing from vise.
c. Assembly

Place housing in vise.

Install O-ring in groove on upper cage.

Place ball in slot on upper cage.

Install bonnet and handle on upper cage.
NOTE
No rotation of the handle is required to install ball bearings.

Aline groove on upper cage with grease zerk hole. Use punch to install 16 ball bearings.
6 Install grease zerk.

Install two spacers and flatwasher in bottom of upper cage.
8 Install lower cage on upper cage.

Install stem and plug in lower cage on handle.

Install O-ring and valve seat in housing.

Install valve assembly in housing.

Place ball in slots on upper cage and housing.

Install four capscrews.

Grease valve through grease zerk.

Wrap antiseize tape around threads of two elbow pipes. Install elbow pipes in throttle valve.

Place quick-disconnect coupling in vise.
17
Wrap antiseize tape around threads of two reducers and nipple.
18 Install two reducers and nipple in quick disconnect coupling.
19
Remove quick-disconnect coupling assembly from vise.
20 Apply thin coat of silicone lubricant to gasket lips and outside of gasket.
