Aline holes on instrument panel and mounting bracket. Install four flatwashers, bolts, lockwashers, and nuts.

Connect battery (para 2-16).

Start Switch Replacement
1
Remove four nuts, lockwashers, bolts, and flatwashers. Remove instrument panel from mounting bracket.

Remove locknut from switch. Pull switch from rear of panel.

Tag and remove two wires from switch. Remove switch.
4
Remove flatwasher and nut.
5
Install nut and flatwasher. Install switch.

Install locknut.
7
Connect wires and remove tags.
8
Aline holes on instrument panel and mounting bracket. Install four flatwashers, bolts, lockwashers, and nuts.
9
Reconnect battery (para 2-16).
