TM 10-4610-229-24 2-18. INSTRUMENT PANEL REPAIR (CONT) i. Panel Replacement 1 Remove four nuts, lockwashers, bolts, and flatwashers. Remove instrument panel from mounting bracket. 2 Remove the following from the instrument panel: a Temperature gage (subpara a) b Battery indicator gage (subpara b) c Fuel level gage (subpara c) d Rheostat (subpara d) e Ignition and light switches (subpara e) f Relay switch (subpara f) g Start switch (subpara g) h Oil pressure gage (subpara h) 3 Remove utility lamp (para 2-20). 4 Remove instrument panel. 5 Install instrument panel. 6 Install utility lamp (para 2-20). 7 Install the following in the instrument panel: a Oil pressure gage (subpara h) b Start switch (subpara g) c Relay switch (subpara f) d Ignition and light switches (subpara e) e Rheostat (subpara d) f Fuel level gage (subpara c) g Battery indicator gage (subpara b) h Temperature gage (subpara a) 8 Aline holes on instrument panel and mounting bracket. Install four flatwashers, bolts, lockwashers, and nuts. 9 Connect battery (para 2-16). 2-57
