b. Remove four capscrews (4) and nuts (5) and remove housing (6).
c. Remove four capscrews (7), nuts (8) and remove housing (9).
d. Remove four capscrews (10), washers (11), nuts (12) and lockwashers (13), Remove bracket (14).
a, Remove liners (15, 16, 17 and 19) from housings (6, 9 and 18) and waste housing (20) as follows:
WARNING
Dry cleaning solvent, AA711, Types I and II, used to clean parts is potentially
dangerous to personnel. Avoid nonporous gloves when handling the solvent or
material wet with the solvent. Wash hands immediately after exposure with soap and
water and use a lanolin based skin cream to prevent skin drying. Do not use near
open flame or excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100°F (38oC).
(1) Apply solvent in wear liner and housing and remove old liner by grasping one end and peeling it away from
the housing. Liners may require working from both ends to loosen and remove the liner.
(2) Remove all dirt and foreign material from each housing.
(3) Clean Interior of housing thoroughly, using cleaning solvent.
b. Liberally apply liner adhesive to the exterior surfaces of liners (15, 16, 17 and 19) and to the interior surfaces of
housings (6, 9, 18 and 20).
c. Fold the liners in half and insert into their respective housing (6, 9, 18 and 20). Flatten out bulges and smooth
liners into place with liner flanges correctly positioned on housing flanges.
d. Using the round end of a ballpeen hammer, pound holes in the liner flanges by striking the liner directly above the
mounting capscrew holes in the housing flanges.
a. Secure bracket (14) to housing (9) with four capscrews (10), washers (11), nuts (12) and lockwashers (13).
b. Mount housing (9) on housing (18) and secure with four capscrews (7) and nuts (8).
c. Mount housing (6) and secure with four capscrews (4) and nuts (5).
d. Install cover liner (3A), mount plate (3) and secure with six capscrews (1) and nuts (2).
