Equipment Condition:
ROWPU shutdown. Main power cable disconnected
from control panel. (TM 10-4610-232-12)

WARNING
Do not wear watches, rings or dog tags when working on main control panel
WARNING
Make sure electrical power is disconnected before working on unit. Failure to do so
could result in serious injury or death from electrical shock.
NOTE
Tag all wires before disconnecting.
a. Unlatch the upper and lower exterior panel doors and swing the doors open.
b. Visually inspect for loose, frayed, cut or scratched cables, wires and connectors.
c. Check for loose mounting hardware. Tighten as required.

Refer to Figure 2-23 anddisconnect three wires(L-1, L-2 and L-3) of cable (1) at top of main circuit breaker (2) and
the ground connection of cable (1) at ground strap (3).
b. Remove conduit nut (4), elbow (5) and sealing washer (5A).
c. Disconnect three wires (8T-1, 8T-2 and 8T-3) of cable (6) at motor starter (7) and the ground connection of cable (8)
at ground strap (3). Cut tie wraps holding wires in control cabinet.
d Remove conduit nut (8), elbow (9) and sealing washer (9A).
e. Disconnect three wires (8T-4, 8T-5 and 8T-6) of cable (10) at motor starter (11). Cut tie wraps holding wires in
control cabinet.
f Remove conduit nut (12), elbow (13) and sealing washer (13A).
