NOTE
There are twelve cable harnesses located at points shown on Figure 2-23. The
removal procedure is identical for each cable harness.
g. Remove cable harnesses (14) as follows:
(1) Remove four screws (15), nuts (16), lockwashers (17) and washers (18).
(2) Tag and disconnect all wires of cable harness (14) from components of control cabinet.
(3) Remove cable harness (14) and gasket (19).
NOTE
There are four connector assemblies which are used to connect cables to the control
cabinet. The removal procedure is identical for each, as follows.
h. Tag and disconnect all wires from cable (22). Loosen cap (25).
i. Pull cable (22) out of the cabinet and slide bushing (23), body (24), and cap (25) off the cable. Remove conduit nut
(21), sealing washer (21A) and connector end (26) from the control panel.
NOTE
There are four connector assemblies which are used to connect cables to the control
pane!. The removal procedure is identical for each, as follows.
j. Tag and disconnect all wires from cable (29) and remove conduit nut (29).
k. Remove the cap of two part connector (27), then the lower half of connector (27), sealing washer (30) and washer
(31). Cable (29) is now free.
l. Tag and disconnect individual wire runs as required. Typical types of wire connections and configurations are
shown in Figure 2-24.
m. On Model ROWPU-1, remove nut (32), locking ring (33), preformed packing (34), and toggle switch (35).
a. Repair components other than cables and connectors by replacing faulty components.
b. Repair damaged cables and connectors (para. 2-7).
c. Replace any damaged wires.
a. Connect individual wire runs as tagged. Refer to Figure 2-24.
b. Place connector (Figure 2-23, 27) end washers (30 and 31) on cable (29).
b.1. On Model ROWPU-1, install toggle switch (35), preformed packing (34), locking ring (33), and nut (32).
c. Install cable (29) through the hole in the control panel top and secure with conduit nut (28).
d. Connect cable (29) wires as tagged during removal and reinstall tie wraps as necessary.
e. Reinstall four connector assemblies (20) as follows:
(1) Slide cap (25), body (24), and bushing (23) on cable (22).
(2) Install sealing washer (21A) and connector end (26) in top of control panel and secure the assembly with
conduit nut (21).
(3) Install cable (22) through connector end (26).
(4) Connect cable (22) wires as tagged during removal and reinstall tie wraps as necessary.
